JMLR Software

For people who build with AI and never trained as engineers

Where are you stuck?

I'm a software engineer, and I don't write the code either. I tell Claude what to build. What makes it work is learning to think like an engineer, and that's easier than you think: a few simple ideas get you most of the way. You're stuck somewhere: the fix keeps breaking more than it fixes, the credits are gone, or you're scared to let real users in. Each spot below has its fix, and every fix is prompts you give Claude. Do it once and you know what to ask next time. Start where it hurts.

First features

  • I changed one thing and something else broke.

    The undo button

    Free · Coming

Save your app every time it works. When the next prompt breaks something, you go back in thirty seconds instead of losing the weekend. Know what going back brings back (your code) and what it doesn't (your data). And keep one copy to mess around in, and one your users see.

  • I have lost more money vibe coding than at the casino.

    Stop the credit burn

    $29 · Coming

When the fix makes it worse, stop. Paste the real error to Claude, give it two tries, then roll back and ask again with what you learned. Then the money you don't see leaving: servers left running, images stuffed in the database, a job that runs every minute, and no limit on what your users can spend for you.

Growing app

  • People started using it, and pretty quickly, some users started telling her they couldn't sign up.

Find it before your users do

    $29 · Coming

You shouldn't hear that signup is broken from a user. Small checks that run on their own over signup, login and paying, so you know in a minute. Then what breaks when real people use it at the same time.

  • If someone asks me what file X does, or how folder Y connects to the database, I just freeze.

    Know what you built

    $29 · Coming

Have Claude walk you through your own app in plain words, so you know what each part does. Then the notes files that stop your AI forgetting yesterday and changing the wrong file today.

Integrations

  • the payment worked, but the app still treated them as a free user.

    The hard three

    $29 · Coming

Logins, payments and email, each set up once, properly. A card gets declined, a Stripe webhook never arrives, the welcome email bounces: does your app know? I give you the list of what to ask Claude for, because that's the part it won't think of on its own.

Launch

  • It worked, looked good, and still had exposed secrets.

    Before you launch

    $29 · Coming

Check it before real users arrive: keys sitting in the browser, data any logged-in user can read, no limit on how fast someone can hit it, no backup, and no way to know when it's down. For each one, you'll know what to ask Claude to fix. You can get through it in an afternoon.

  • I said ok lets rollback. Rollback completed, but it didn't role back… Rollback also via git does nothing.

    The second way out

    $29 · Coming

Your code on your own GitHub, your database in an account you own, one deploy you control, and a backup you've actually restored once. So when the platform's rollback doesn't roll back, you still have a way out.

Any time

  • I had to migrate my project because lovable service quality has declined.

    The escape plan

    $39 early · Waitlist open

Move off your app builder to Claude Code and Cloudflare: setup, a starter template, deploying, your own domain, one flat price. The calculator shows what your current plan is costing you first.

Client work

  • I run sites for clients and the change requests eat my week.

    The Website Maintenance Pipeline

    $79 · Available now

A client texts you a change, you tap merge, and the site is live a minute later. The whole system, written from the one I actually run.

    Get the guide

You get one email, when this one's ready, and that's the only one. Unsubscribe in one click. I write the ones with the most people waiting first, so signing up is a vote.

Buy a few guides together for less

Each guide is sold on its own too. A bundle goes on sale once every guide in it is written. I don't sell anything I haven't finished.

Anywhere else

  • Stuck somewhere I didn't list? Tell me where.

I'll email you if I write it.
